Precision health not only benefits the people of Qatar directly but also strengthens the nation’s future by keeping its people healthy and productive. Advancements in screening and diagnostics, prevention, personalized treatment plans, and healthcare delivery enables the delivery of the best possible healthcare to Qatari residents, with QF’s innovation and expertise in precision health also being shared with the international community.

In 2025, our key areas of achievement in precision health included the development of genome maps of the Middle East and North Africa to ensure the representation of genomic diversity; advancements in health screening from newborns to adults, healthcare prevention, and clinical treatment that are improving overall health outcomes nationwide; and embedding genomics as a core competency in education in alignment with the National Strategic Knowledge Skills framework.
