From students to scientists, from innovation to policy, from sport to cultural heritage, the globally unique, landscape of knowledge we have built and evolved over three decades is where people are empowered and inspired to find their purpose and make a difference – for the good of Qatar, the region, and the world.

Driven by knowledge and open for everyone to connect with, explore, and benefit from, our ecosystem of education, science and research, and community development is rooted in the cultural fabric and traditions of Qatar and the Islamic world, grounded in strong ethics and values, while being agile, globally-aware, and ready to respond to the needs of our nation and the world.

The efforts we advance, and the opportunities we create, are focused on five strategic themes:

• We are dedicated to Progressive Education, offering learning experiences that meet global standards but are locally contextualized, in schools that cater for students of all abilities and through partnerships with seven of the world’s leading universities, alongside our homegrown Hamad Bin Khalifa University.

• In Precision Health, we are deepening the Arab world’s genomic knowledge and are at the center of Qatar’s effort to take personalized medicine from research into clinical care

• We are a vital global voice on Sustainability, generating knowledge and solutions around the challenges hot and arid environments pose, supporting Qatar’s food and water resilience, and amplifying the role of traditional knowledge in shaping a sustainable future.

• Our work in Artificial Intelligence is seeing us develop smart, ethically responsible applications that improve people’s quality of life and ensure the Arabic language is represented within this transformative field of technology.

• And through our commitment to Social Progress, we provide inclusive opportunities for sporting participation and healthy living, foster lifelong learning and volunteerism, and promote and perpetuate Arab cultural heritage and identity, and the Arabic language, in an era of rapid technological change.
